Bioinformatics deals with biological data such as DNA sequence, protein sequence, protein structure, etc.. Because these data are generated by a high-throughput technology, the needs for the efficient bioinformatics tools are also increased. Now, it is time that we cannot think of biological analyses without computer softwares. However, it is also the fact that bioinformatics without biological data has no meaning. In this point of view, two different parts, wet lab and coding, have to understand each other part. Today, I'd like to talk about in the side of biology using one of real biological data as an example. Open discussion would be welcome.
